From the Grave…And Just In Time For Festivities!
Ooh, it’s almost like we’ve been dead the entire time! But FG’s semi-active again between agricultural duties (yippee!), and we’ll be covering lots of cool topics in the coming weeks!
With summer creeping towards us ever so quickly, and that means the season of festivals, bugs, and outings are upon us! Right around the corner is World Goth Day, an annual gathering of alternatives across the globe! This year, FG will celebrate WGD at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, GA, so be sure to check back for pictures and coverage on the event.
There’s been lots of chatter about The Cure’s nationwide tour–new songs and otherwise epic encores. FG’s excited to also talk about the Robert Smith experience that’ll be coming to GA on June 24th! (There’s still time to purchase tickets if you haven’t already!)
Also, if you have a garden and are tending to it, chances are the bugs will begin to be(or already are) a constant pain in the ass. Mosquitos, Potato Beetles, and Hornworms are just a few creatures that Amy Stewart talks about in Wicked Bugs: The Louse That Conquered Napoleon’s Army & Other Diabolical Insects. Keep an eye out for a Scyrpt review!
Lastly, there’ll be some cool comparative shopping and research for the perfect picnic package. And yes, they will be dark, and they will be environmentally-friendly!
So cheers, and keep an eye out for some cool reads in the near future!
